Award categories
Entry to the awards is open to all commercial projects completed in the last two years, where the job has been managed by a Registered Master Builder.

The five categories are defined by the type of work undertaken, i.e. market sectors, providing entrants and award winners with a strong platform to market their company and construction capabilities while at the same time engaging the general public and organisations who contract non-residential construction.

How are National Gold Reserve Finalists determined?
This year we will be awarding up to 25 local Gold winners, Gold Reserve status. They
will be determined using the following process:
1. All of the Gold Award results throughout the country are pooled together.
2. The top three Gold Award winners out of each category are automatically selected. Should a category have less than three Gold Awards, then only those will go through.
3. The remaining places (to make up the top 25) are given to the remaining highest scoring properties regardless of what category they fall in.
